This company appears to "cold call" elderly persons. They were able to obtain my 85 year old fathers Credit Card number. They have charged an initial $400 charge in the 1st month and now have a reoccuring charge of $200 a month through their scam Financial service division, "MEPCO". Their charges are for "Auto Warranty" although he has not had an auto for over 5 years. To futher complicate the matter, his Discover credit card company will NOT stop any future charges to his card due that he has Alzheimer's and can't answer their "security questions". Discover card will not accept my input as having the Power of Attorney until they receive "Written" documents which will take serveral days to get to them.in the meantime, the FRAUD charges seem to be perfectly ok as far as Discover Card is concerned. One can't help to believe Discover is happy to run up all the interest they can.
So, BEWARE of a company called NATIONAL AUTO WARRANTY, their scam financial firm called MEPCO and also of getting any assistance from DISCOVER CARD in helping prevent this attack of our WWII war veterans!
