It's sad what people will do to earn a dollar (Sadly with no guilt or remorse)... I was out of work for a short period of time looking for a better oppotunity, they wouldn't give much info. Over the phone went in for an interview I was hired instantly. They told me about the $75.00 fee for background check and $95.00 Kit fee (which was to get returned after completion of training) for products. I questioned it and was told in order for the company to invest in me and earn a paycheck of $4,000.00 plus a month (well it was explained more less like a security deposit. I was told if I had nothing to hide it shouldn't be an issue. So I understood it was just to protect the company and their assests so I agreed.
Mark was a very motivational speaker stating a lot of you may question this... And giving reasons why this was legitimate. Giving you actual training and holding conferences at hotels to make the company seem legitimate. I met my first sales goal but started to question the company right away when we were told one amount of sales in the interview and after I met my first goal it was just one goal after another. I take thorough notes and noticed right away he had contradicted himself. I think maybe one or 2 others may have caught on but everyone else stayed cooperative. I gave it my benefit of the doubt and returned maybe another 3 times to feel it out and decided against attending.
Things were falling into place as promised and there was an older man by the name of John who had interviewed me and according to what I was told should have been way out of training and had an office and had quit his job at the post office. Sadly, never seen any of the people I met ever again to find out what happened to them but I wasn't waiting around to find. Out.
One of Mark's tactics was "no negativity in the office I have spies and if someone hears you speaking negatively we will talk". I thought it my head you don't want anyone questioning you that is why you have this policy. The employees were too scared to say anything or discuss their thoughts or opinions. He had hit on me personally more than once and I am in a committed relationship and told me I was being controlled. I am more intellegent and better educated so I am well aware of the difference of control and the loyalty of commitment.
His behavior and manorisms were not respectful in a business environment. Frequent cursing, and such a care free attitude were instant clues he wasn't a serious and well educated business man. Unfortunetly, he prays on the weak so those few remain with him until it's too late and they have lost a substantial amount of income. But if you ever have a boss who's throws a conference and after wards a hotel party with cheap liquor, at a cheap low end hotel, and asks you to stay the night you should probably run away. I Know I did.
Also, last but not least when someone who asks you to call him every night because you need to develop the habit because in the future you will need to call him with numbers, and when you call he won't shut up and asks to take you dancing and flirts with you and tells you he will take you shopping and on vacation and at work tells everyone he is married with kids and cheating is a norm, and to work for his company you have to be willing to travel and having a mate accompany you will just create arguments because of the way the employees handle themselves on business trips and asks you to leave your family and everything else behind is not only immoral but obviously isn't legitimate and likely is a slimeball in life so how could he be a clean legitimate, business man.
If anyone has any information on how to get this man legally prosecuted and get me all the pay I am owed I would be delighted and willing to talk. I have all the Trackfire information and paperwork. But all my clients received their equipment I made sure of that. So I can't say my customers were ripped off because they recieved when they had ordered. (I kept calling and so did my customer's until their products were received and they were satisfied with the product)...
