I am an ex-manager of U.W.S.I. Before I started the company my wife had told me all the negative remarks made by people, and the consumer complaintss, but I didn't listen. I was #1 trainee throughout my training and became one of the top managers out of the few they had. I quit after 4months of managing, this company is a scam, and the money is not worth the lies you have to tell your employees. To all the employees at UWSI, you have no idea what you're getting yourself into.
First... When you get called in for an interview we asked for $75 dollar for an background check, ummm... We dont even check the backgrounds, we turn that in as part of commission. Then we also ask for a $95 kit fee, which we tell you get it back, which is true... Only if you finish your training! This is the catch... I had to tell everyone coming in that you would only have to do $2000.00 to finish, when I knew that wasn't true.
When I finished my training of $10,000, MR. Mark Mingolo and Tim McAdams told me that no-one finishes w / out making AT Least 10k. Then when you think you're finished, they take you to the corporate office to decide where you're office will be. But... That's only to tell you, you have give $6000.00 up front before you can have your office! Which I almost quit there, but I had already invested 10k, so I gave it, and they make you give it in cash (Mingolo and McAdams are very intellegient) only to later discover the reason is that when you try to sue for your money back, you have no proof of even giving them the money.
This company gives you false verbal promises! They are very good at what they do... Scamming people. It's sad that I had realized it after $16k worth of debt, no employment benefits for 4mo, lying to people who couldn't afford it, and a sorry paycheck of 10% commission that I had to drain out of my employees... This Company Is Definately Not Worht It!...
And all the people writing rebutals, are either employees who haven't figured it out yet, or managers who have to have these employees to get a paycheck (of course they'll say whatever they need to say... I did)
Secondly... If you don't believe me, do your homework.
They've been dropped from the Better Business Bureau due to overwhelming complaints every month. They have several law suits against them. They're banned from the state of Georgia. They've had to change their names several times from so many law suits... Names such as: Creative Fire Solutions, Executive Plus, Inc., SPINX, Unique Providers, UWSI.
I've been called by a spokesperson for WKRN Ch 4 news, to do an interview for Consumer Affairs, but due to the fact that I signed a contract to leave the company and receive some of my money back i cannot put a name or a face to this upsetting matter!
There's so much more that I can tell you about this company and what they are doing, but I really dont think there's enough room. I know several managers that have quit for the same reasons as I, but unfortunatly I will not disclose their name.
