These people are THIEVES!
I accepted a free 90 trial membership which I could cancel at anytime during those 90 days. However, I NEVER recieved the "introductory" packet and then all of a sudden I started getting monthly $12.99 charges to my credit card. I contacted them (by phone) and they agreed to cancel my "membership" and refund the charges plus send me $40 in fuel vouchers. (Don't bite for that one. You have to have a valid account number and you the vouchers can only be used at $10 every 3 months though they will tell you over the phone that you have nothing to loose becasue you can use the $40 during your 90 day FREE trial membership. However, they won't send you the account information to use them. Gotcha!).
So they "Cencelled" my account but, lo and behold, the next month there's another charge on my card for $12.99. I call and they tell me that the cancellation was done 3 days after this 3rd charge was made. So I say, "OK. Then I also dispute that charge for the same reasons I disputed the first 2 charges; I never recieved the introduction packet or my account number so I could not use their service." Basically it was a breach of contract. They said they will refund that charge, too but after seeing this site, I expect this will go on for a while.
If they DO refund the charge AND DO NOT charge my card again next month, then I will update this complaint and explain that they have FINALLY acted honorable. However, if the do not, I will report that next month too. Stay Tuned!
