Pete called in answer to a request made on the internet to find a contractor to refurbish our existing sliding glass doors. He came out and gave us an estimate and had two unqualified men come out to do the job. No supplies were brought to the work site and materials needed to be ordered to replace rollers and tracks.
Three months later, not once has Pete called of his own accord to give me any update of when my materials would arrive and when he, or his workers, would finish the job. Yes, stupid me, I paid him $400.00. I have contacted Pete and left him messages. The times he actually called me back, he gave me excuses and false hopes of him coming to finish the job or to even bring me the materials ordered.
Pete resolved to send us a full refund since he couldn't make it to finish the job... Since he has stated that he would refund the money we have not been contacted by him after several attempts of calling and leaving messages.
I assumed that since he was recommended by an online agency that he would have been one to be trustworthy. Hopefully between this report and filing through the BBB he will take me seriously enough to have some integrity to stick to his word and do what is right by refunding my $400.00.
