We have also been taken by this con man. We contacted reliable Remodelers, said they would give us 4 contacts. One was in Apopka, the next one was Pete Spaziano, he called made an appointment, came to the house, gave us an estimate. We had been to Lowes earlier, Pete's estimate was quite a bit less so we thought we had a good deal, big surpirse. Not true.
Pete wrote out a contract, giving all kinds of phony numbers of a license etc.
He asked for a deposit to order cabinets for kitchen, We gave him 2 checks totaling $4000.00. The next night we found out about this rip off report and saw how he had taken so many people.
We called him the next morning and told him we wanted to cancel because of what we had seen. He got very angry yelling, swearing at us, very loud, could not get a word in. Finally agreed to cancel the contract, sent us a cancellation by email, stating all money would be returned. You guessed it, the money is still not here after almost 2 months, He did send $1000.00 via money order. It has been one excuse after another and one lie after another,
He said he sent it registered mail well over a week ago, has not arrived, he seems to enjoy taunting people, he needs to be stopped. Have tried to settle this without any further action taken to no avail.
Hope others read this and take heed, do not hire this man.
