We started with Nextel about 4 years ago and it was explained to us because we got a deal on the new phone we would have to agree to a 2 year contract so we did. Last fall I had to have surgury and thought it would be good for us to have a second line and our daughter had a Nextel phone so I called an had it activated. (No one said to me that my 2 year contract would start over). Now that all is over we did not need the extra phone so I called to cancell the extra line and now they say I will owe 200.00 to cancell. So I said I never agreed to that. It did not matter to them they just want to take our money so I told them to cancell both phones and I would go elsewhere. Now they want me to pay 400.00 to cancell. How can they do that? I have been with them in good standing for over 4 years. Does the contract ever end and how do they get away with this...
