My boyfriend and I went to American Freight on 2/27 in high hopes of finding a sectional that we would really like. After looking around on the floor we found the Edgwood sand sectional, really nice and only 998.00, the salesmen sat down on it and was all talk about how great it was and how we didn't want that sectional on the floor cause it was just a model and we wanted a new one.

We then ordered our sectional with warranty for 1,045.00 with tax and was told that our delivery date would be 3/03/08 after 5pm and if we wanted to check on the status of our delivery to talk to Nick only our salesmen. Well my boyfriend called that wednesday at noon to make sure all was ready to go and scheduled the delivery that day.

We were told that the driver would call us around 5pm that day to see how far away he was. So we waited patiently until almost 7pm that night with no phone call or no truck. We had already trashed the old sofa to make room for the new one!

My boyfriend then starts calling, he gets no answer, sometimes he gets a weird disconnection tone and sometimes a weird operator asking for an extension. Finally after an hour of calling he finally reaches someone and we found out that there would be no delivery and the couch was not even in stock and that is was in fact in florence ky.

Angry that we wasted a night waiting for a couch that was never going to come we then are told that they may get a transfer from florence to fairfield and it would come after 5pm tommorrow. So we switch our schedules around to accommadate them just so we can get our couch, only to find out the next day that it was not coming!

After getting the run around for 3 weeks with fake delivery days and promises of the couch we decide we will rent a truck ourselves and pick it up from florence. We call florence to let them know we are coming and they tell us its not there! We then call Fairfield back infuriated that we have been lied to again! Why can't we just get the truth!!!

So it is now 3/23/08 we still don't have a couch, they don't answer their phones, their customer service people do not know anything!!! Nor does the management, which by the way yelled at my boyfriend for putting down the poor customer service and their trainning abilities of their staff. We just want the couch. Oh and when we called about possibly getting the floor model couch we had ordered they told us they sold it! How could they not even tell us... What a bunch of crap.

If I would have read the rip off reports... We probably never would have even ordered it!!! We still don't know when we will get our couch, nor do they even know...
