Nice to know I wasn't the only one who wasn't using her head when being scammed this time. I'm on cold medicines, so I have those to blame. Who doesn't want to go on a free, complimentary vacation? I'll tell you who, someone who has to give their credit card information over the phone and pay out $798 buckaroos!
Save yourself a days worth of frustration and headaches if you've gotten taken by this scam. I had doubts as soon as I thought about it for a couple of hours and was feeling some heavy buyers remorse by the time I called back to cancel my purchase (by law, my state gives me three business days to back out of any deal).
Call your credit card company and cancel your card and have it transferred to a new number. The guy at my Bank was totally understanding and suggested it as a recourse instead of waiting for the purchase to post and then dispute the charge (which they were also very willing to let me do). If you haven't already, register your phone number (s) on the National Do Not Call list and tell them that when they try to call you back.By law, they can't bother you any more.
Finally, I urge you to register a complaint against this company&they should be put out of business.
