Huffman Research And Development, MysteryshopOnline.com Scam, Bogus check, rip off, Don't be a victim

I have received 2 letters in 5 days from this rip off company. Each letter claims that they received your name from a survey filled out online. Each letter looks very formal. Both had names of different research companies with D/B/A under them. Both letters were written that they wanted to give you a job as a customer service evaluator (After paid training of course!) Each of these contained a check: one for $3,900 and one for $4,500. Both were made out to me.

Each letter stated they wanted to to contact them before depositing the check. Then you are supposed to do one or two shops before completing a moneygram transaction back to them. This is supposed to be after the check clears, but they are only giving you a week to make the transactions to get the job. You are to keep $200-$400 for yourself for your paid training.

Heres the rip off. The check is bogus. The bank usually does not let you know until after you have pulled out the cash. You will not only be out the money, the bounced check fees and also may face check fraud charges. The checks are bogus or may be stolen because the names on the checks never match the names on the envelope. The letters are shipped through a Canada Post to make it harder to track. The companies on the checks are usually from the vicinity of where the bogus company is located. One was from Texas and the other Michigan. I did my own research because I know from experience these research companies do not pay up front.

The first one, I ripped up and filed a rip off report. Then I recieved a second one. This made me even more mad! I started googling the names on the letters and the companies on the check. I located a real business in Michigan with that name. They did not have an email, but listed a phone #. I called them and got a machine and left a message. They called back and I explained the check I had received with there name on it and what I believed may have happened. He hung up and said he would call back.

30 minutes later, I recieved a call from Chase Bank. The lady stated the check was a fraud and that the client was ecstatic that I had reported this to them. I am now sending the check to the bank with a copy of the letter so that they may research and press charges.
