I placed an order with L.F.S. Cultures and it was to consist of a large culture of grindal worms, a small culture of white worms and two small orders of daphnia. I waited almost 3 weeks and still had not received the order and it was my understanding that it would arrive US priority. I called him and ask if there was a problem and told him that my payment showed to have been received by him. He said that yes it was going out that afternoon. I said ok thats great thank you.
Two days later I received "large culture" of grindal worms, which turned out to be a plastic tub, about the size of large sour cream bucket, full of smelly dirt and oats put on top that had been wet down. I searched with both a magnifying glass and then a microscope, also please keep in mind I have been in the Tropical fish hobby for 35 years and know what grindal worms look like.
I then placed a second call brought to his attention that no grindal worms existed in the soil. He told me grindal worms were hiding below the food that was on top. I explained that I had taken it apart and looked and he became angry and called me a lyer. I also paid for small cultures I got one bag of daphnia and a small styro coffee cup of white worms and lastly a bag of tubaflex worms that he had tried to sell me on the phone but II explained that no I didnt like live tubaflex because often times they were dangerous to pet fish and would make them sick and perhaps kill them. It really wasnt that much of a problem however be cause the tubaflex was actually a bag of dirt and water. Do yourself a favor and save a lot of money and look elsewhere for your live food.
