Smells like roses, turns to sh

Ordered flowers for delivery to Fresno, CA on 2/12/08. Receipt for purchase was for $78.61 to my Visa. Flowers were to be delivered on 2/15/08. On 2/18/08 I checked for information regarding delivery confirmation (this was done by e-mail because I was on hold forever when I called) and got no response.

I sent a second e-mail marked as "urgent; reply requested" and got a generic reply that it would be investigated. I never heard any more.

On 2/20/08 I called again. This time I spoke to "Linda" (would not give last name or last name inital). I told her the call was being recorded and gave her the invoice reference number (#1-413155). There was a lot of "ya da, ya da" and she couldn't really tell me if they had been delivered or not. She put me on hold to call the florist (who was supposed to deliver the order in Fresno). When she came back to me she told me the owner of the business said they were very busy and would have to call her back. She said she would call me as soon as she heard from the owner. I suggested she re-call within the hour and she said, "Oh yes, I'll call and call until they get sick of me... Until they pull their hair out".

I asked her to call me as soon as she heard from the florist in Fresno and asked her if she had my phone number. She gave me the phone number in her file (for me) and it was correct. I thanked her for her assistance and hung up.
