On December 29, I entered into an agreement with Mr. Dixon for a complete bathroom remodeling. Total cost-$10,300. I paid Mr. Dixon $6300. Downpayment and later another $3000.
Mr. Dixon allowed poor quality work to be completed. Mr. Dixon was never at the job site to answer any questions. Mr. Dixon's crew consisted of young in-experieced workers.
The tile work in the bathroom was uneven, unprofessional and substandard.
The wall tile is uneven with chipped tiles in addition to cracked grouting throughout.
Irregular grout joints in the wall and on the floor.
Large cracks in floor tiles.
Floor uneven, noticeable slope.
Back side of tub, tile edge is finished with wood. Front side of tub, tile is is level with compound; which is now falling off because it gets wet from the shower.
Glass shower doors never installed.
Mr. Dixon disconnected my toilet from the main pipe line and moved it to the other side of the bathroom. I did not ask for this. Poor plumbing has now caused me to have blockage problems.
L & I said that I should have hired a master plumber. They also said that Dixon Contractor's & Co does not employ a master plumber. Apparently L & I already knows that this company is a fraud.
The last conversation I had with Mr. Dixon was him telling me that the shower doors were on order. He refused to me at my home to discuss the situation that had been building regarding the tilework. He refused to repair the damage, stating " I'm not going to eat that cost". Afterwards, Mr. Dixon stopped answering my calls.
I say we get a class action suit going against this guy. He must be stopped. I have a name of another person that has been duped by Mr. Dixon for over $40,000.
