Credit Line Gold Card
Creditlinegoldcard.com scammed me out of $279! Internet

A company the name of http://www.creditlinegoldcard.com called me one day telling me I was approved for a $2500.00 credit limit. I thought "GREAT!" and began listening to the information they provided.

I didn't question the company because they had an official web address and telephone number. Also I had applied for several credit cards and cash advance loans within the past few weeks so I naturally assumed that this was just one of those companies contacting me.

While talking with the man that called he told me that I was approved for the large amount of credit which was redeemable on 10 of their websites. Which was okay because I"ve had an LPC card for sometime now so I assumed that this worked the same way! He also told me that if I qualified for it, I would receive cash advance's which would be deposited into my back account. He asked me to verify my information which he resited to me. All I did was say yes because he already had my bank information and social security number on hand. Then, he told me he was going to run a credit report just to make sure I qualified for the cash advance loans. I was okay with this because it all seemed perfectly fine.

After being on hold for a few seconds he came back on the phone to tell me that I was approved for the loans but would not receive them until I made my first purchase. So I said okay. He told me once I made my first purchase of $200 or more that the loan of up to $500 would then be deposited into my account.

Next he told me that in order to activate my account with CREDITLINEGOLDCARD.com and verify my identity they needed to verify my bank account information. So he resited my information and I verified the information he had was correct.

Next he explained to me that I would be receiving a welcome packet in the mail within the next few days with my card information and websites I could shop on. I was all too excited.

He then gave me a confirmation number to insure me this was not a scam. He also gave me the name of the website which was CREDITLINEGOLDCARD.com. I wrote down all the information like he asked me to. He was so friendly and convincing at this point. Now all I had to do was sit back and wait for my welcome packet to arrive.

Feeling like I'd just won the lottery daily I waited like a child on Christmas Eve for the mail to come. Well almost two weeks later I still hadent received my welcome packet. After waiting for so long I began to forget about it. I started working for a temp agency shortly after that. When I received my first paycheck I quickly took it to my bank to cash it. I was confused when they told me my account was overdrawn for $249 from a company by the name of CREDIT LINE GOLD CARD.

After returning home and searching information on this card holder further I came accross information telling me this company was a scam.

I called my bank and put a freeze on my bank account and filed for a fraudulent transcation report immediately.

MORAL OF THE STORY: dont trust telemarketing! If it sounds too good to be true: CHANCES ARE IT IS!!!

I had to go into a filthy bar to cash my paycheck because no one in the area where I live would cash checks from the temp agency I work for!!!
