Sheer cover offered a trial program on their NEW sheer powder as advertised on TV. I tried it, 4 different colors, the powder wipes off. I offered to return the unused product & they said no & canceled the membership program they put me on to even try it. So I considered it closed, this was back in June- July.
Suddenly September 19 I recieved a package from Guthy Renker/Leeza Gibbons/Sheer Cover & their was a charge of $37.90 on my credit card for powder I DID NOT ORDER on September 10. I returned the package September 20 to Sheer cover with directions from JoAnn in Sheer Cover customer service and was guaranteed I would receive full credit, plus shipping since I cancelled this membership and I have not received any of it and to this day am still fighting Sheer Cover.
Here are the following people I have spoken to at Sheer Cover customer service telling me a variety of excuses as to why I have not received my receiving a refund, Sept 19 Joann ext 34112 told me to return the pkg for a full refund, plus the shipping since I had cancelled the product. First week of October, don't have exact date, Lindsay ext 66812, explained situation, being put off & she put a credit in for total of $89.85 & it would be processed immediately - another lie - never happened. Two weeks later - Debbie customer service Oct 16, still don't see package or refund coming, put in another request for refund & it will take another 4-6 weeks to process. Called back spoke to Tammy October 19 see if any of this was showing up. No & she put some sort of a request in searching for this returned package request. November 13 spoke w / another Debbie still no credit, still can't find the package, but again a credit should go through in another 4-6 weeks, and again on December 20th from Alicia, she sent an email to "corporate" requesting a refund. Then I sent a complaint online & an S Benson start in as of December 21st, your shipment has not been recieved as soon as it is recieved a refund will be credited to your account. It will take 1-2 billing cycles & S Bensons starts all over again. I told S Benson the story all over again & sent her the postage receipt and all the customer service excuses all over again.
How long should Guthy Renker, Leeze Gibbons, Sheer Cover be allowed to treat customers like this, I am sure I am not the only one being Ripped Off!
I have given & given & they have taken & taken, you give them your credit card number to try their product & you put trust in them by giving them a credit card number that takes a life time to get and in a split second they can take advantage of you & ruin your credit, what a bunch of thieves.
Hopefully this will bring out more people having the same problem. I have made a point of telling everyone I know about this disappointment.
