I purchased a car from carmax, which I purchased also extended warrenty, well when problems started about six months later I found out that the warrenty is misleading and you cannot take it to dealership. If you do you may have to pay charges. Was told by insurance company I had to let carmax try to fix problem first, which I did try several times but they do not know what they are doing. Car leaks leaks leaks water, antifreeze oil.
What a peace of junk. Just this week went to get another leak fixed and was told that there are other charges other than the 50.00 charge advertized. It is 86.00 to check and 50.00 to fix if covered under warrenty. They told me when I purchased the junk 50.00 and you have have several things fixed at one time.
This company is one company that you should stay away from. If you need to buy a car go to a real dealership not a wreckship. I have signs on this 2000 ford focus that states this lemon was purchased from carmax of raleigh. Honk when you see me. This company sells junk. Forget the point checks. Stay away from Carmax
