Tried to get personal information for a $50.00 purchase Internet

I recently tried to purchase items from this company as I have done so in the past using the exact same information which my address was saved automatically in their database with the same credit card I had used on prior purchases.

I received an e-mail stating the address I provided did not match in their Visanet system and I was to provided them a copy of my credit card front and back with a signed, a copy of my driver's license front and back, a personally signed statement from Sugarcraft, Inc. Permission to charge my credit card, and if the documents sent do not include the address they are shipping to I must send a copy of some bill showing this address.

After receiving this e-mail I had to send them an e-mail, because they have no phone number you can call, asking them to contact me back asap in regards to the e-mail I received requesting this personal information and provided my cell phone number.

They sent yet another e-mail stating I would have to forward this e-mail to them, so I did and stated to them I had just the right mind to report them for asking me to send this personal regarding my credit card.

I informed them that I went back to their website and tried to re-order and my billing information came up as it did prior and all the information was correct.

I informed them that if they feel as though I am a fraud to send me an e-mail stating my order is cancelled and I would gladly take my business elsewhere since I do alot of online shopping for my baking needs. I then thanked them in advance for making me feel like a fraud.

They replied with another e-mail stating
"We asked for nothing you had not already provided when you put in your credit card information. We just wanted to see proof you weren't a crook... And it looks like we hit pay dirt here. As a result of your threats we feel that it is best that you shop elsewhere. The staff at sugarcraft.com"

I couldn't beleive this e-mail so I started searching online for complaints and came across this site. I'm a professional woman in a professional job trying starting a bakery. This company can offer no customer service and the people who send this e-mails have no compassion for a customer who is disappointed with their service.

I guess anyone can sell products online and get away with how they treat customers who which to purchase the products they sell, and from their website they don't feel anyone or anybody can do anything.

They actually state "take everything you read on the BBB website with a shaker of salt" on their website.
