Since the moment I signed the papers for a G6 that wasnt worth half of what I bought it for I have been stressed, humiliated, depressed and overall in fear of trusting any car dealership again.
Steven Hartmen the sellsmen kept on insisting over and over and I felt traped. I told him there was no way I could afford the payments and again he promised that they would be low. I was already under a lot of emotional stress because I was a week away from delivering my baby.
These are some of the promises he told me before I signed the papers that he guaranteed would get done.
-he said the car had a 6 month warranty on it when in fact after signing the papers I found out it was only 1 and a half.
-It turned out to be 400 hundred a month when he said that it would not be more that 300.
-the car has a large chip on the side door, which he guaranteed they would have fixed that same month. To this day the chip is still there and he insist that now we should have it fixed "under the table" as if
I had just bought some junkyard car.
-he promised he would sell my other vehicle in order for me to put the money towards my new car therefore lowering the payments, this has not been done either.
-I still have not been given my spare key to the new car ($32)
-he proceeds to tell me everytime that he is the one doing me a favor by getting the car fixed when it fact those were under the conditions that I bought the car! I have been calling and calling Steve Hartemen and he has been giving me the runaround.
*I later spoke to a financial advisor that used to work with Dennis Dillon and who said that they are literally ripping people off. He said that on some of the payments they have added a sometimes called an "administration fee" that ranges from 50 to 100 dollars, and is not justified in anyway on the contract. He explained that if it is not in the contract that you sign it is against the law AND PEOPLE THEY ARE DOING IT SO CHECK YOUR CONTRACT!
*they also default most of there loans to there own Loan company Northwestern leasing at a 13% even if your credit can get you a 5%., the way BRAD DILLON made it. He let his employees now if you dont do more of these loans I will start firing people. He also said that if anyone tries to sue them "WE HAVE MORE MONEY THEN THEM SO LET THEM TRY".
I have been so upset about this car company I just can believe they can sleep at night. I had hoped these people have been around so long why would they have to rip-off a nine month pregnant student! But I guess there is people out there who at the thought of money go numb.
I also put a complaint into the BBB.
