The Meriden Record Journal newspaper will not email, fax, or advertise their classified rates. You have to drive to their office to get a rate sheet, which I did. Once I got a rate sheet, they said the rates "in their computer" were different than on the rate sheet & they had to go by what was in the computer. A classified ad they charged $17 for one Sunday they wanted $52 for the following Sunday saying first, "the rates had gone up" and second, that "someone made a mistake" and charged me incorrectly the previous week.
