These people signed a one year contract to rent a place, then stopped making payments a few months later. They aren't poor tenants you should feel sorry for. This was their second home and Lou would fly in for a few days, then fly back to Louisville, Kentucky.
Lou Mazziotti is a smooth talker who makes promises even when he doesn't have to. The problem is, I can't remember him ever following through on one of them.
I lost a lot of money because of these people. And even though Lou swore he'd pay for all my losses, he hasn't paid a penny yet, even after several letters and emails.
When I make a mistake I ask myself two things. What did I do wrong, and what would I do differently? With Lou and Bev Mazziotti, what I did wrong was listen to their smooth promises. What I would do differently is never enter into a contract with them again.
