When I was conatcted by one of their recruiters, He told me that I would bring home between 1200.00and 1500.00 Dollars a week. This sounded very good since I never made that much money no matter what company I was driving for.
But as it turned out after I started driving for JB hunt i never even came close to that. Even after being out for two weeks at a time i wasn't making any money. My pay hasn't been more than 200.00-300.00 dollars a week. Even after talking with my dispatch it did not change so I decided to go regional which I was told again i would be making better pay.
But so far nothing has changed. Because of my pay we have lost so much already. Utilities have been shut off, car has been reposessed furniture also. I am the sole provider and I can't even provide for my family.
JB hunt lies to drivers they make it sound great to get drivers but can't keep one promise they make. My wife went as far as sending the president of JB hunt a letter in regards to my pay and the problems they have created but they don't care.
I read lots of complaints against this company and Agree with everyone of them. JB Hunt is no more but a huge rip off. How can a man who has 22 years experience driving over the road survive on only 200.00-300.00 dollars a week and support his wife and four Kids and pay the Bills at the same time. I even ask my dispatch that question.
