*We Never Used Our Membership*
My husband and I bought into this scam (our BIG mistake!). We spent $4,000 to become a member. We were one day too late to get our money back (3 day buyers remorse) and we ended up wasting $4,000. The company sounds great and wonderful and they really do make you think you will SAVE SAVE SAVE.
Two days after becoming a member I wrote down some prices on large appliances when we were out shopping (at local stores). I took these prices back to Direct Buy to compare the SAVINGS. Much to my disapointment I quickly learned we had been scammed. And just to make sure we had been scammed I wrote down some other items while at DirectBuy and came home to look them up on the internet. Again, I found that we were lied to.
I did go back to the DirectBuy location and talked to the store owner, showing him my findings. He proceeded to tell me I "misunderstood" their video and speech on where the BIG savings were. There are SOME big savings, but they are in areas that MOST people would not buy much of. And even with that, you would most likey not save enough to spend the $4,000 membership fee to begin with.
PLEASE, Do Not be scammed by this company. They are not what they say they are. Please let our $4,000 mistake spare you from wasting away your own hard earned money.
