I had been working for K&B for 4 months. I got sick and was given a 2 day off note from the doctor. I was sitting in my truck at the terminal and was asked to deliver some parts to another truck on my next load.
I had been scheduled for a load for the next day. The parts were given to me and I was asked to deliver then 14 hrs before my load delivery.
I told them I was still sick and that I wouldn't guarantee that I could deliver them 12 hrs ahead of my scheduled load delivery time. They came and retrieved the parts from me saying they had another driver to deliver them. I went back to the bunk.
1 hour later an employee came to the truck and informed me I was terminated. I asked why and was told he didn't know, but they would put me on a bus and ship my things to me.
I asked to talk to the person who fired me and was told he was unavailable... Meeting or such. I have called for 2 days to find out why I was fired and no one will tell me. I need to know to put on applications, and file for unemployment if needed.
K&B will run you ragged... Have you falsify their copies of log entries that they keep in their office in case of a review, and in general, are a useless company in business... This is putting it lightly!
