I signed a contract 0n 052202. I was scheduled for a dig on 052702. Well i was told that my pool was scheduled to be the 3rd one of the day. I asked, Why 3rd? I was told that since my pool did not have a "spa" then they always schedule the "NON-SPA" pools last.
Well, I was rescheduled for Friday 053102. They were there! I went to the store and returned only to find that Hobart had busted the water main and had shut off my water. Ohhhhhhhhhhh by the way they had already left when I found this out.
Friday night and no "H2O" and no one thought that they might tell me that I would not have water to bathe in for the weekend. $250 later with a plumber problem solved.
Well that was minor. I was told by the salesman (Todd Theriault) that it would take 30-35 days to complete my pool.
After day 50 I contacted the VP of Hobart (Mr. Ken Vierk). Mr ken stated that Todd was mistaken and that it really takes about 40-45 days. Ok well we had a few rain days, no problem.
After day 78, I once again spoke with Mr. Ken. Excuses, lie, etc coverup...
He told me that there were several holdups, 1 being that they had a hard time finding my pea trap... U bet they had a hard time especially when no one was looking for it!
We (Mr. Ken and I) agreed that he would write a leter and guarantee that my pool would be done by 081702. Well, I got the fax except it said nothing about 081702.in fact all it atated was that they would finish my pool in a timely manner.
Now I am pissed. Mr Ken was contacted and he stated that he would rewrite it to say what we wanted it to say. He did and it stated that they would have my pool finished pending the weather delays.
81 days and still no pool!!!
Never buy a hobart pool... Never
