One of the poeple that call me on a daily basis is Angie. I have spoke with Chris and Now Doug. These people have been calling me for a month about a bad debt with a credit card which is fine I understand that I am behind on this debt.
I have done my homework though I know for a fact that acording to the FDCPA they are not supposed to call you but two times a week or every three days. So could someone please tell me what is it that I am supposed to do this is harassment anyway you look at it.
I informed her that I was sending Payments in that she had no need to call me everyday I was under the impression that once they started recieving payments they could not call but once a month if that is the case why is it that I sent payment and they recieved it on the 28 of April and then she called me on monday 4-30-07 and I informed her that I was on my way out the door I would have to talk to her another time and hung up.
She called my home again on 5-1-07 and was told I was not able to come to the phone so she called back later that day and then today called and I was unable to come to phone and so I called to speak with her, I spoke with someone by the name of Doug I asked him what is was she wanted I was sending in payments and informed him that I am aware that according to the FDCPA that this company was not to call me no more then twice a week in turn he said "I CAN TELL THAT I AM NOT GOING TO GET ANYWHERE WITH YOU" he then mubled and hung up on me well if they want to collect a debt from me you might think they would speak with me not harass me every single day of the week at this point I am sick of dealing with them is there any hope for this I am trying to pay this debt back to the company that I owe it to but they are making life even harder then it already is.
Please help in reply to another post I have read I am aware that if you call or write anything to them to let them know that they may not call you back at work again they will stop that We also had that problem with this same company.
