Where do I begin. Well lets see it all started when RPM would call my house several times a day. Harrassing me and my family. When we got our income tax my husband decided to pay them off. He called them and the bill was actually for $484.00 but they settled for $323.00. We were very satisfied with that amount so my husband gave them our account information. A couple of days later I called my account, and there was a withdrawl of $484.00!!! After we had agreed to settle for $323.00.
Naturally we called them very upset. They acknowledged the mistake and put the money back into the account like a few days later.
Well, the money was there and they never took out the correct amount afterwards. So actually I could have just withdrawn that money and never paid them right? Well, no, I was honest and called them back and gave them my debit card and they took out $352.19. (I guess they charge a fee) Well anyway, I hung up with no regrets, feeling good about paying them off. Well, this morning I get up and call my account and there is a $340.34 charge on my account EXTRA! That they had taken out on top of the settlement charge we had agreed on. Now my account is overdrawn. I don't have the money to pay my bills now that I did before.
I called them back and spoke with a lady named Maria. She is apparently a manager over there. She could not explain to me why this had happened again. She then proceded to tell me that they would have this resolved within 72 hours to a month. I was like no I need that money today!!! I have 2 children to support and bills to pay and can no longer do that now because you people have ripped me off once again!!! I told her I would be getting in contact with an attorney and my bank explaining the situation. She then got rude with me and said I was threating her and wanted to know if there were anymore threats I wanted to add to the account. Well, anyway the call escalited and I just hung up.
I am so fed up with these people. I want to know what I can do do bring them down. I will do what ever it takes. If anyone is interested please get in contact with me. Let's not let these people get away with all of this it is illegal.
