A "college kid" came to my door doing a door-to-door magazine sale, to help him "earn points" for some sort of trip. I paid by check, which cleared my bank two days later. Magazines never showed up and the email address is phony. I read another report on usacomplaints.com about this company and it appears they are running quite a scam.
