My experience with Cross Country Bank has been a total nightmare. On May 24th I closed my account I received a statemeent that account was paid in full. Three months later they took 49.00 from my account then denied it. When I called up they had no answer. I received a letter stating that a charge of 30.00 was being charged to my account for a returned check that was processed 8-14-01 it is now July 13 th 2002. It took them a year to clear a check and only months after the account was closed. This card company needs a wake up call, a full investigation into there business needs to be conducted. They are into predatory lending.
