I've tried to close this account for approximently 5 months now on the back of my statement it says to close an account do it in writing. I did with my last payment. 3month ago I get a letter stating that I've am delinquent and I owe all this late fees. So I called them and I told them that I sent a letter out to close this account and this women told me that my letter is probably sitting in a bag some where. So I went and paid up every thing again which by this time I was informed that I owe 148.00 I did a check over the phone and I closed this account over the phone again. I did this the end of may had them take it out of my account June6,03.
I get a letter confirming that I closed out the account and they recieved the check information for the bill. The next week I recieve a letter stating that they did not get enough in formation on my checking account. So I contacted the bank and they to the out of the account June 18,03 but I'm now being charged a late fee. I assure you there was plenty of money in the account. I just recieved a letter from an attorney F.J. Borzia stating I now owe 116.00 of a balance of 147.82 I haven't used the card in over a year my credit limit is only 200.00. The reason I was closing this is cause I don't use it and they charge me 10.00 a month for it and like 27% interest. This is fraud and I'm sure there is some imbezzeling goning on some where. I know that there is other people having the same problem whith company I found a whole bunch of people on the net.
