My step-daugter was seeking information about a EDP credit card, she checked the terms and conditions to find out that it cost $159.95, she cancelled by not agreeing and signed off, a month later, a check for$159.95 was presented to my bank, the money was not there, so i was charged a $30.00 dollar nsf charge, i called EDP, and was told that they can send it again up to three times. I went to my bank to put a stop payment on it and was told it cost $30.00 dollars to put a stop payment on the transaction, this all started with advertizement on a website called phone hog. On the web site: it said free phone minutes for just for completing an application for a credit card, there was no mention of $159.95, and no acct# was givin at anytime, so how did they get the acct number? The only company who had the number was phone hog, there has never been a signed authurization giving phone hog permission to share account information with any other company, i used my debit card to sign up for phong hog only. I am on ssi, i am disabled, and can, t afford this rip-off from any company or indiviauls
