This company recently charged my checking acct. $79.95 for a credit monitoring service I never purchased.
In addition, they have been charging one of my credit cards $12.00 a month for many, many months. I didn't catch this until recently because I never use the card, but I do still make payments on the card.
Although it was an oversight on my part as far as my credit card being charged, they are still unauthorized charges. As far as my personal bank acct. Being charged. I have no idea how they got that information.
My bank credited the $79.95 to my account within about 3 days and issued another debit card to avoid any other charges. The credit card company also issued another card to avoid any future charges and is sending me a form to fill out and return for their investigation.
When I called the company, the rep told me it was from a free credit report purchase 3 yrs. Ago!!! When I asked him why, after 3 yrs. My bank account was charged, he had no response.
