I was looking through my email when I came across one from StopSmokingResolution.com that offered a "free" 10-day trial of patches, only $3.95 shipping. I looked around the site to see where I could find a price, I didn't see it anywhere. So I ordered it on 12-19.
I then received an email that had the terms of the trial (after I had already ordered it) saying if I didn't return the remaining portion I would be charged $99.95. So Immediately sent an email telling them to not even send me the free trial and that I had changed my mind. They sent it anyway and it arrived on the 12-22 the Friday before Christmas so I sent it back out on the 26th with delivery confirmation.
Someone finally responded to my email saying that they would not charge my card anymore. Yesterday 1-10 I woke up to find that they had indeed charged my card. I've tried calling the company but just to receive a message that said "This mailbox is full".
I did a little research to find that the Stop smoking Resolution Company used to be named Stop Smoking 180. I'm working with the fraud department of my bank since they didn't have authorization to charge my card. Hopefully something will be done to stop these people.
