I have begun working a t a crc in nj but I was not familiar with their practices I was told that they were supported by the Better Business Bureau and now I am finding out differently. I was initially told I would get paid one price per hour now it is something else was told can stay after getting one lead, now it has to be a front which is when they confirm the sale.
Now they are not calling all the leads and then tell you they didn't get through so you can go home but how do I know if they got through after I left or not. Today I was told because I didn't have a front in two days I couldn't come to work for 2 days I was specifically told in the beginning that that didn't matter I could still come in as long as I continued to get leads.
Also they are prejudiced because I sometimes have spanish speaking customeres on the line and though I don't speak fluent spanish I at least try to be polite and if I can say something in spanish briefly I don't see who this is hurting but I can hear the manager saying something to the effect of she speakig spanish again or something as if this is something I should not be doing and all I'm saying is habla ingles because I know this means more in spanish than in english and all I'm saying is do you speak english.
I have also been subjected to some harassing by other individuals like school children for some reason they discriminate against me and I don't know any one there I am just doing my job they pass around tickets and I am the only one they exclude. They have a raffle and can give out a ticket to everyone there but me. This is harassment to make me feel unwanted or unwelcome and it is a smear campaign against me by some individual person there named Nancy that I don't know, but for some reason is telling people not to talk to me and trying to really get under my skin.
Now it has become difficult for me to go in and do my job and the manager does nothing. It is like this is an exclusive country club and it's for members only and those we don't like need not apply.
I have voiced my opinion about this but I think I made it worse so now I guess they will find excuses to get rid of me when I am just minding my business and feel I should be able to no one should be subjecting me to harassment. One lady was decent enough to drive me home and the next day I could hear her talking about me and telling people where I live and I am concerned because I don't know why anyone would have to know where I live and because I have had a problem there with this woman I am concerned it may escalate into violence.
I know that sounds crazy but because of the element that I have had to deal with there I am afraid that they may try to come to my house to harass me. Sounds strange when your just going in to do your job.
This has been my experience since I started to work there unfortuantely I didn't really realize at first but now I do which is why I looked it up on the web. I waslooking for somewhere to report this and I wouldn't mind being contacted because this is all very strange to me.
