Laundromat
Discriminated

Me & my son entered this laundromat in Arleta, CA. I loaded our clothes in 4 washer and put our socks & underwears in 2 separate regular washer (which are located in front of this laundromat). My son left to picked up my daughter who is buying laundry soap. I loaded our blankets in another large washer which is located at back. After this, I got change from their machine. Then, waited like five minutes for my son & daughter. My daughter & I started putting laudry soap when I noticed a spanish lady doing laundry to the washer where I put our socks & underwears. I tooked a look inside the washer and saw that our socks & underwears were gone. The lady closed the door of the washer & told me that's not our clothes. We asked where our socks & underwear. A spanish old guy answered (customer) and pointed that it was in a cart & dryer. My daughter asked who tooked it out. The old guy said he didnt't see who tooked it out. My daughter told him that he just told us that someone tooked it out and put it in a cart but he can't tell who.

I was so mad & called the male attendant to complain. But he doesn't speak english, so we can't understand each other. At that time, we are the only one who doesn't speak spanish. I called my husband (just coming home from his work) & asked him to come and speak to this guy attendant. My husband knows how to speak spanish.
I feel discriminated. They tooked our clothes out just to give way to this spanish lady.

The lady who used the washer where I put our socks & underwears just starred at us and did not even aplogized. This make me more mad... No one helped us or apologized.

After like 30 minutes, my husband came and speak to the guy attendant. My husband asked for the telephone no. Of the owner of this laundromat and the guy attendant's name. The guy doesn't want to give his name and telephone no. Of the owner in which we can complain. He called supposed to be the manager of the laundromat. They talked in spanish. My husband heared that guy attendant told the supposed to be the manager that it was unattended for almost 1 hour, so he has to removed it. My husband asked if he can speak to that manager. But the attendant hang up & moved away.
Then, I was surprised that there was a middle aged spanish lady shouting to my husband that there is nothing to complain because it's my fault leaving it unattended for an hour. I told the lady it's not true. I loaded the blankets and just got some change. It's not even 30 minutes since I came and loaded our clothes and waited for my son and daughter. But they are saying that it's been an hour. I asked them how come they knew that it was an hour already? I told them that they have cameras so they can check if it's really true that it's been an hour leaving our clothes unattended. This middle aged lady started talking to others who's doing laundry too in spanish with a little english. My daughter told me that the lady told those other people there that we are ugly people. She's making fun of us. I have seen this middle aged lady several times before giving instruction to an attendant.

I told my husband to stop talking to this lady and just helped us so we can get out of that place. I started getting our clothes even thou it's not completely dry. I just want to get out of that place.

Why is it that they are hiring people who does not speak Bilingual? Bilingual so they can help others who doesn't speak spanish.
