I regrettably bought the "Never Shave Again" hair removal kit and extra pads. A fews days after I ordered the kit and pads, I contacted United Productions to inquire about the status of my order, since no status appeared on their website. I was told that the kit and pads were shipped and I could expect them in a couple of days. I was afraid that I would not recieve the unit in time for a full 30 day trial period, which turned out to be the case.
Upon arrival, I tried the hair removal system and found that it did not work. I followed the instructions to the letter. My wife and daughter also tried the hair removal system and found that it did not work for them either. I tried the system another time and after three weeks, decided to return it.
I contacted United Productions Customer Service and asked for an Return Mechandise Number, which they emailed to me. I told the represetative that I was going to send the unit back the next day, which was a Friday and that they should receive it on Monday, which they did. I was aware that the unit would arrive a couple of days after the deadline, but was told that it would not affect my ability to get a refund. I was told to expect my refund in three weeks.
I called United Productions and spoke to a Customer Service Representative to inquire about my refund. She told me that since they did not receive the unit back "in time", I was not entitled to a refund. I told her how I had recieved the unit nearly a week after ordering it, due to a delay on their end. I also told the CSR about the conversation I had with the other CSR, who told me that the company would honor its policy and give me a full refund. She told me that the other CRS was not authorized to make that promise, so therefor I was out of luck. She told me that she could only send me another Hair Removal Kit and nothing else. I told her to shove it!
This company is selling a defective product and does not honor its money back guarantee policy. Do not purchase this piece of crap! Look at the other consumer complaintss before you make a decision regarding this item.
