Harp Marketing runs ads in the Florida Today Sunday papers saying employees are guaranteed 11.00/ hr first shift and 12.00 hr second and third shift.
When I worked there the first thing they did was take out 80 dollars from my paycheck. $10 for a loose leaf binder that sells for 2.00 at staples and 70 dollars for a head set/microphone for computers that sell for under $20 at radio shack. Employees are supposed to get this back when returned upon termination, but I never have.
In reality the pay is $6.40 per hour plus various commissions. The difference is supposed to be made up to 11 and 12 dollars in what they call true up, which doesn't get paid until the followong pay period, why, who knows. The company in a memo recently put out that they were only going to pay the "true up " if a certain sales goal of a really sketchy product was met, almost impossible for most.in the time I worked there I never made more the 8 or 9 dollars per hour
They were still running the false advert for hiring as of thelast sunday in October.
