Source Marketing claims that they offer Salaried, and hourly plus comissioned positions. This is not true, the only form of compensation that they offer is Comission, they do not offer any benefits. They claim that within 6 to 10 months you will be able to own your own business. This again is not true. Smart Circle owns the business you are a glorified mananger. If for any reason smart circle feels that you are not making them enough money they shut down your office. Source Marketing/Evolution Advertising/Smart Circle used to be associated with Sears. Sears recently disassociated themselves from Source/Smart Circle/Evolution because the company was illegally using former employees badges as training badges for new employees, this led to frequent stops by the police officers as well as the disbandment between Sears and Smart Circle/Evolution/Source. This was because one employee had the cops called on them after harassing the daughter of one of the homeowners houses which he had stopped at. The cops were called and the cops then called sears to ask about an employee they were told that the employee was no longer badged and thats what led the police to asking for a real id. The kid then produces his real id with his real name on it which then led to Sears to disband with Smart Circle/Source/Evolution. They have switched addresses from 2809 Fairfield Rd after having numerous consumer complaints written about the former address. They constantly switch company names once one name has been dragged through the mud. The owner is Doug Ascher. Please be aware that this is a Business to Business sales position. Although they like to tell you that it is a marketing position and a marketing firm. It is not, the only advertising/marketing that you do is Sales. National Promotions and Events also runs out of this office. They also claim to have hourly plus comissioned positions. Again they do not. The way compensation works for them is that during a two week period of working in sams club they will keep track of the hours and the comission that you make, they will then pay you whatever is greater of the two, so lets say your pay for the hours that you worked is $300 and the comission is $400 you will get paid your comission. If it is reversed and the comission is $300 and the hourly is $400 they will give you the hourly. The catch is that the next paycheck in which your comission outweighs your hourly so lets say $400 vs. $300 you will get a $300 paycheck that week. This is because they take back the difference in hourly pay that they gave you on your last paycheck.in this case a $100 difference is subtracted from your next paycheck.
