During the latter part of June, I placed my 1968 Pontiac LeMans on Classics and Customs web site to be sold for
$13,000.
The latter part of July, Joe with Nashville Power
Sport Auction telephoned me after seeing my Ad. He offered to sell my car for me and make me a sizable profit. I also spoke with Leon McGregor, sales manager and received assurance from him that the car looked great and that I would be completely satisfied with the price it would bring. He informed me the next sale would be held on August 12 and they sure would like to have it up there for sale on that date.
The cost of shipment of the car to Nashville was $950. Leon offered to pay $300 of that. I believed everything these two men told me—they seemed to be honest businessmen. On August 12, they sold my car for $5,000 minus expenses. My share was a mere $3,750!
I believe that I was taken advantage of, lied to, and throughly ripped-off!
