Bidz.com Ripoff Compare Prices are Astronomical, Abominable and Downright Comical! Culver City California internet

After having read all of the complaints on this site against Bidz, the seemingly most recurrent is about the assumed retail price. Bidz does state that the "comparable" price is the price that the same or like item has sold for in some retail jewelry stores. Every company I have ever known, especially wholesale companies have wildly inflated their suggested retail prices and manufacturers suggested prices and even compare prices. This is LEGAL and is not against the LAW and even if it was against the LAW you would have heck doing anything to anyone for doing it. These "compare" prices are totally unreasonable and illogical to anyone who has any knowledge of sales. Most people do not have time or energy to investigate things like this and so many assume these prices are real. And many believe they are retail prices. Do not even ever consider these prices as actual selling or buying prices as you will be very disappointed after you pay any price near these prices. I feel so sorry for innocent people when I see them bidding on these items at a high bid because I know that they are thinking that these items are valuable. The lady who won the supposedly $9000.00 ring for $222.00 and didn't recieve it, don't feel cheated because the item probably just wasn't worth what you paid for it anyway. So you saved money by not recieving it. If something is advertised as worth $100.00 on this site then a reasonable price for it I have found would be around $7.00 to $10.00. So in true honesty from now on if you bid you should only bid around 5% to 10% of this comparable price if you want to recieve a fair deal. And most times that is even too much! Really it would be better if you paid no attention to these prices period! It would be like going to Wal-Mart and Wal-mart had a comparable price on a dozen of eggs at $120.00 a dozen when we know they are worth about a dollar a dozen. But in the Civil War some people did pay $120.00 for a dozen of eggs to keep from starving to death, so in bidding on these items you should ask yourself how desperately you want or need the item because you could be shocked when you recieve the item. Ultimately, YOU are the ONE responsible for what you have bid on an item and complaining after the fact is usually useless. Bid Wisely. Thanks.
