Netstamps - Hidden Postage ripoff, deceived, misled, out right lied, stole my visa account number and charged $299.82 to it 7 months after I cancelled And Valencia

During my on line 'registration' with this outfit, I was accompanied, over the phone, by one of their pushy phone solicitors. When the pages containing Terms, etc. Were flashed before me, she kept encouraging me to read them later, when I could take my time. After all, 'you can cancel very easily by just phoning me if you do not like it'. Even though I tried reading it all anyway, she kept reminding me that she was still holding on the other end. Very High pressure! When I asked what the stamps were to be printed on, she said any labels that would fit. When I told her I mail large envelopes every day, she told me I would receive a free postage scale.

Well, when the 'welcome package' arrived, it had a post card to mail in, after the trial, for the scale; and it contained registered labels for the postage. These are the only labels that can be used, and must be purchased from this company. (the stamps can not be printed on 'just any label that fits')

After my first try at using this service, I realized it was not for me, and proceeded to call and cancel. Only, after 20 minutes I was still on hold, and had to go so I could take the other calls coming in. I kept calling to cancel at least 2 times a week for the next three weeks, always waiting 20 minutes or more on hold, and having to go to take my other business calls. My trial ended on a Friday.

On this day, I waited on hold 40 minutes, and could not get through. They do not take calls on the weekend, (I tried) so I tried back again on Monday. This time I waited over 1 hour to be answered by the nastiest, rudest, most degrading individual. I was unequivical that I do not want the service, and that I want to cancel. Then the line went dead. I thought, so what, at least I got to cancel first. (I was on my cell phone, so I do not know for sure if they hung up, or the call was dropped)

I proceeded to cancel the card I paid them the shipping on, and had a new one issued the next week. This was at the end of February. Well, these crooks somehow got ahold of my new card number, and on Sept. 29, 7 months after I canceled, they took $299.82 from my account! Just where did they get my account number from? I did not give it to them. They submitted the charge as an 'authorization'. Only, I did not authorize it.

These people use deceptive tactics to rope you in, then they get a choke hold on you. They make sure it is near impossible to reach any one on their cancelation line, then just steal the money from you, through any unscrupulous means they can.

Everything about this company is similar to stinking, rotting garbage, sitting in a pile with no where to go.
