I just realized I had been scammed by a young man this summer selling magazines door to door in my neighborhood. Since I haven't received my garden magazine I looked to see if my check had been cashed and requested a copy from my bank.
As I investigated further the company name found on my receipt "Sunshine Subscription Agency" has numerous consumer complaintss filed online.
I know I only lost a minimal amount but it is very anoying to know this has been going on for a long time and will continue without anything being done. I don't even care about the magazine because I "thought" I was helping a sweet young man earn points towards a trip to Cancun.
Please stop this Scam!!!
