World Perfume, Executive Image
Wanted me to sell FAKE perfume Ripoff

I too have been taken for a ride with Executive Image aka World Perfume. I answered an ad in the Denver Post for administration managerial positions. The men that did my interviews were Neal Johnston, Terry Burton, and Rowina. Let me start by saying that the office that I went to looked as if it were "thrown together". There were fold up chairs, andvery loud music. I noticed that there were no computers there in the office, Kinda made me wonder why.

My first interview:
I walked into the office and had to sign in at Rowinas desk. Then I was lead to a room with about 15 fold up chairs. After I waited about 15 minutes, Terry Burton came in and said it would be about 5 minutes.

As I walked into Terry's office, there were no computer, no certificate on the walls, and no LIsence hanging on the wall. Made me even more curious. I thought that maybe they just moved in and have not got to set everything up yet. During the interview, I was asked what I thought about myself. Everything went really well. Terry told me that there were about 150-160 people applying for the few positions they had open. The interview went on more and Terry told me that I would not have to worry about waiting for a phone call to be invited back to the second interview. Terry told me right then that he wanted me back.

My second interview:
Again I signed in at Rowina's desk, then I was ushered into a room with about 30-40 metal fold up chairs. This is when I met Neal Johnston. As I was sitting ther, about 15 other people came in. While we were waiting for the interview to start, we started talking among ourselves. That is when I realized the music got louder. Finally Neal Johnston came in and introduced himself to us. I sat there for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours listening to Neal. At the end of the "speach", Neal told us that we were going to do a "FUN" contest. Whoever could sell the most bottles of this perfume (renditions), to our friends and family would win $1,000.

Day three:
When we all came in we were seated again in the room and again the music was blaring. Terry Burton, and Neal Johnston came in the room and started to talk to us. No one got the $1000. Because the group didn't hit the goal of 250 bottles sold. (Gee, I wish they would have let everyone know that before). Well after we got some more teaching, if that is what you want to call it, we went out onto the streets to sell this perfume. I am just happy to not be in jail for soliciting on the street without a permit to do so. When I asked about the soliciting thing, Terry told me that I am not soliciting, that I am a promoter of rendition perfumes. We went out from 10 am to 5 pm. I didn't sell one thing. We were all suppose to go to this place called "Wings" after work. It was almost 7 pm and I lived about 40 minutes away from Aurora, Colorado. I told everyone that I had to go, and Neal told me if I go how will I get to know the people I work with? Well that is really kinda funny, you don't want us talking in the meeting rooom but you want us to talk at wings. Hmmmm.

Day Four:
Again I was seated in the "meeting room", I was talking to another person that was ther, and Rowina came in and busted up the conversation. I guess they didn't want us to be talking to one another, cause maybe they wre afraid we would figure out it was a scam. Neal Johnston and Terry Burton both said they were from Chicago, Illnois. When I asked about the paycheck, I was told that we would talk about that later. We never talked about it. Well we went out again for more selling. Oh yeah! I still had not sold anything. I asked terry why I was selling when I didn't apply to be a salesperson, he said because I need to know how to helpp my crew that I would get. Okay, I thought.

Day five:
My husband is starting to get pretty ticked off now because its friday and we still had no idea about my paycheck. (I never did get a paycheck from Executive Image.) We hit the streets again, only this time I went out with Neal Johnston. What a joke that was!!! We all went our separate directions. Oh fun. I was sunburnt so bad thatwhen I went home that night, my husband wanted me to quit right then.

On saturday, they wanted me to go out again, I said no. I was not going to do this anymore. I really hope that everyone out ther does not fall for this scam Terry Burton and Neal Johnston are doing.

Here are a few tidbits I will share:
1. Terry and Neal said that World Perfume is their parent company, but when I called World perfume in Carrollton, Texas, Chris told me that World Perfume is NOT the parent company for Executive Image.

2. I was told by Samantha (Sam), that the speeches they make have to be followed to the letter. You have to place writing on the erase board at the presise spot. She also told me that she slept with Justin when they had their road trips. (I thought we were not suppose to have intimsate relations with one another). Hmmm.

Well I jusat hope no one else falls for this bunch of garbage.
