About a year ago a gentleman came into our place of business, a small gift shop where we also have a contract post office unit. He said he was from a department store and we had helped them mail out some things. Me and the other girl working didn't think anything of that, we help a lot of businesses. He wanted to thank us for our work by offering us a store tester of a world famous fragrance at a much reduced price. He really worked on us and talked us both into buying one. We both bought one using our bank cards (clueless I guess). Today another charge from that same company came up on our on-line bank statement. I wasn't sure what it was until I googled and found the reports here about people being trained to sell perfume (aha!). Yes it was the same company and found the entry from a year ago, it was the same amount. We'll ask the bank how to go about disputing the charge.
Don't buy perfume from a door to door salesman, no matter what he says.
