To whom ever is concern,
I've been living at the Harbor Pointe Apt. Homes since December and find it very unbearable living in this type of environment. I've been asking Denise S. And Millie? Of the rental office, about every month how I go about transferring to another apartment or community under GSC properties, which is the same owners of Harbor Pointe.
It's not stated in the contract that you have to wait until your lease ends in order to transfer. The answer is very contradicting one minute is yes you can transfer and then no you can't. Whenever I would ask to see that statement printed in the contract, they'll make up fabrications about they can't find the one that I've signed or they'll change the subject quickly.
I really think that I should be able to transfer because they've mentioned a transfer fee if you want to transfer in the middle of your lease. I told them, GREAT, I want to do that with no problem and they'll say, but you have to do that transfer at the end of your lease, but it's no charge.
I want to move NOW! I'll pay that transfer fee NOW. They insist on robbing me of my dignity. I am willing to put up funds to be moved! But these rental office staffs consistently play mind games.
I had made numerous complaints on the appliances that are no functioning properly, too many dead bugs in the breezeway of the apartments, lights that are out in the breezeway, (might be) illegal immigrants smoking marijuana, drinking beer, and (might be) distributing illegal substances around the apartments and parking lots of the complex.
When my a/c unit was running roughly, why do I have to contact the rental office staff numerous of times in order to get a response from maintenance to complete a task. I've spoken to Mille and Denise of needing to spray down the breezeway of the entrance to your apartments due to creepy bugs, dead bugs, and other venomous insects roaming the place.
Lights weren't being fixed in the breezeway entrance... Feeling no security. Speaking of Security, it is needed in this community. The gate hasn't been up since I've been there. Anyone can freely come in from out of the community. The noise level is outrageous in the parking lot at night until early in the morning. You have immigrants... Not judging... Smoking marijuana, drinking beer outside, and throwing trash in the pools and in the parking lot of the complex.
You'll make a report to the staff in the rental office, but they're very nonchalant and incompetent. The parking problems were mentioned. One car taking up two parking spaces, car parts in the road ways, someone changing oil in the parking lot, and you'll have non-residents/immigrants parking their big vans in the parking lot.
I've spoken to a rental office staff of the situation and didn't get a preferable response back. Whenever you would like to make these complaints to the rental office manager Carrie? She is nowhere to be found for helping the situation. I believe if I'm giving you rent on time every month. They should be respectful enough to satisfy your tenants. I need some type of assistance immediately. I shouldn't be treated like a second class citizen; I work everyday. Unlike those that don't work and just hang around the complex making disturbance get special treatment.
Will someone please help me with my case?
