I am a 21 year old student who recieved a phone call from a lady saying that I won something if I bought a magazine subscription from them. Being young, I did not know so I bought the subscription.
About two months later they started billing me on my credit card and sent me a lot of letters stating that they will take me to some collection agency from their company and take me to court. I sent them a letter and my parents sent them a letter but they kept on harrassing me with letters and phone calls.
I got tired of it and paid for the amount I owed them which was about $700 dollars. They said I would get 208 issues of U. S News, 48 of something, 24 of another, 48 of another, 48 of something else, 30 of something else, and 26 of another magazine but I only recieved about 10 magazines from them.
I got crappy magazines I did not want. Till this day, I still have not recieved any magazines from them except for one.
They would not cancel my subscription! I feel ripped off and I want my money back. So, for those of you out there, watch out for CMS MAGAZONE COMPANY. They'll rip you off, so be aware.
