Rivercrest Apartments - Bellavista Apartments ripoff disabled said I did 5000 in damage to apt that they said was fine 2 days before

I lived in river crest apts for almost 4 yrs. I had no probs with the mgt till they found out i was gay. When they found out they were rude and refused to do things like fax and give services that were part of the rent.

I am on disability and section 8, I was planning on moving into a bigger apt in the same complex even though there attatude was getting worse by the day. Biggest part was i could not afford to move they came in my apt 2-3 days before i was to move and went through everything and said everything was fine, even signed a paper for section 8 saying there was no damage to the apt. Section 8 came in after that to make sure there was no damage. I had enough when a worker in the office called me and my lover at the time f*in faggots. That was enough for me to call section 8 and find out if it was to late to go some place else. I was told no as long as I did not sign the lease yet, I had not.

The day I moved I took them there keys after painting the place back to white. I had color on the walls i told the mgr at the time, martin. What had happened and told him i refused to live where i was not treated with respect. When I was giving it 2 months after I moved I got a letter from collections saying rivercrest says i did 5000 in damage to the apt. I called them and told them there was no damage and there signed statement as well as section 8s was proof of that. They along with the collection agency refuse to at least take this off my credit till its worked out.

I'm planing on moving now and this is stopping me from finding an apt. No place will rent to me, I have no probs here im moving because the place is to small for me. I need advice of anything i can do, as i said im on disability so funds are tight. Anything out of pocket would be hard. They also say they have 2 pools only 1 in useable. They claim they have jacuzzis in the entire year i lived there i was not able to find them. Then there is the weight room they have an empty room nothing in it and no one is allowed in there.

Again, I'm not looking to start any trouble with them I am not trying to sue... Yet... All i want is this off my credit so i can move to a place with out the landlord seeing i did 5000 in damage to an apt and telling me good luck some place else thank you
