Housevalues promises way too much - this shows signs of the greasy salesperson who will promise anything to get a sale and then burns the victim. The sales person on the phone was wonderful, nice tone and promised exclusive leads that were top notch. They promised that I could try them out and if I really, really didn't like them, just call and they would cancel me. They also said that a spot just became available and that I would never want to cancel. They also said that if I ever did cancel, some other lucky realtor would be glad to take them over. I was told I was lucky to call at the right time.
The leads were horrible. Names like Sponge Bob with 222-222-2222 kind of numbers... Sure they were tested. Sure they were good leads. Sure they were exclusive!!!
Months into this paying hundreds of dollars a month I decided to cancel... Well, they in a very snippy wau said that if I didn't pay for the rest of the year right away I would be sorry for what I would have to pay later. I had two days to pay the whole rest of the year or they would tag on a much higher amount as a penalty. Ooooooooohhhhhh - where was that happy sales person voice that promised me I could easily cancel but that I would never want to because their leads were so precious???
Someone that sounds like Guido starts calling demanding payment and penalty. I keep looking behind my back to see if I can spot the greasy monsters coming out of some old time Packard to lynch me.
These guys are bad news. They cannot even closely produce what they promise to. They can only send trash leads and hope that every sucker just keeps paying for them. Or they must hope that when someone cancels, that the sucker will be too scared of Guido to not pay.
I give this as my testimonials to housevalues. This is truly a housevalues testimonial in the best sense of the word. They cannot even begin to live up to their promises and they seem to enjoy trying to ruin credit with their tactics of collections etc. They are bad news. Stay as far away from these people and if you feel that you have been scammed, then REPORT THEM!!!
Report them to the Better Business Bureau and demand a FULL REFUND. I hope that this housevalues testimonial has been helpful.
