Received a notice that my rebate claim was invalid because the UPC code submitted was invalid for this promotion. After hours on the phone with Customer Service this person said to Fax a copy of the correct UPC code only and she would take care of the matter. This was done the same day I received the notice as I had to respond within 30 days.
After many phone calls to customer service trying to confirm receipt of the Fax a customer service manager stated no Fax was received and the rebate offer has expired.
I sent the Fax 4 times on the same date I received the notice and the phone company billed us 4 times for the Fax. I called customer service on this and she stated that they receive thousands of Faxes and unless there was specific information on the Fax it was not acted on and the rebate claim is denied.
She said the matter is closed because the time limit has expired.
