Beware of Amazoy Zoysia Grass... I spent hundreds of dollars last summer on their plugs, followed all their instructions, and allowed enough time for the Zoysia Grass to grow per Lynn at their office.
I contacted them by phone today 4/26/06, and advised them that their plugs didn't grow a thing, except weeds, despite my following their instructions, and hiring day laborers to the tune of $300.00 to insure the plugs went in fresh.
Towards the end of summer I called and said they weren't doing well and I was advised to give the plugs time. They had their time alright, and I planted sod on the other side of our yard (same identical soil), and grass in a corner (identical soil), and all survived and is striving, (BUT) the Amazoy Zoysia Grass Plugs! I advised them I followed their instructions, etc. And was requesting a "refund", their response, all we can do is resend you your order!!! WHAT A RIP OFF!!!
Zoysia, I have NO PLANS on back braking plug planting, or spending 300.00 on day laborers to insure it gets in fresh when I have grass and sod that will grow!!! I fully understand why you have a 45 day guarantee now!!! What a rip-off!
