Igia - sucked up my money, and now swept me away, now i have no money and no product! Ripoff

Hello everyone. I am here to be included on this highly financial scheme as a victim. Back in August 05 before I went to work I was watching this rather exciting infomercial on the IGIA Singer Lazer Storm. I have a rather messy cockataiel and I thought "WOW" this would be the ultimate vaccum, just use it, and put it discreetly away.

Well, the only thing that got put away was my MONEY! I called and immediatley someone answered and I placed my ordered, and even ordered attachments, etc. No problem, they took my credit card number and said it'd be on the way in 3-4 weeks. I was thrilled! Well, within a couple days I noticied my credit card was charged, so I knew the order was processed and within a week or so I'd get the vaccuum.

Another couple weeks went by and I noticed yet another deduction from my credit card. This happened for another month for a total of $311.00. Ok, so now I was concerned and called the company and was told there's no problem that Singer Lazer Storm is now IGIA and the vaccuum was being shipped out, matter of fact - that day! How convenient and also since I live in CA and the company ships from LA, it should be here by Friday - or so I was told. Friday came and went, and then the phone calls started to the Company.

I was told by one of the reps who answered that I should of already received a card saying the vaccum was so highly sought after that it would be January before another shipment came. NOPE, I don't think so, I said I wanted my refund. Ok, not a problem, it'll be in the mail next week! Please keep in mind this phone call was made in OCTOBER 05.

I have kept a list of dates I called them, and was told my account will be recredited on Friday. Then another Friday, oooh then a Wednesday, and so the story goes. I've called every week since October and been givin the run around. I even enlisted the help of Channel 7 in San Francisco but unfortunately, they've not been able to help. They did talk with one of the reps and was told "let her know her money will be back in her bank within the week!".

Imagine my happiness and Channel 7 said soon as I get it let them know. Well, I've been giving them monthly updates as to the dissapointment from the IGIA company. It appears now I'm not alone. Do you have the corporate office number? Today I called the 1-800-711-8357 and the rep told me she can longer assist me because my claim is so old.

Isn't that special. She said they've done all they could and so now I have to call the Corporate Office in New York. Their number is: 1-800-716-8667 incase there's a newby victim who needs it! I've got so many phone numbers numbers, and while I'm writing this I've been waiting over an hour for the "Corporate Office" in New York to answer, and thats after I was put on hold. Everyday I would come into work and just be on hold and wait for the rep to answer.

I could go to lunch and come back in an hour and still be on hold. I've kept the phone on speaker 8 hours a day and even one of my co-workers comes in my office to dance to the song because we know it so well. So whats next? I really don't know. I've been reading all the postings here and decided today, that maybe if I post this I might get some advice.

Isn't it funny, and I've told the reps this when they do answer that they were so quick to not only take the first month out of my checking account but they took it all. Out of good faith I trusted this company and I asked "Alexis" - so where's my money because if I don't have the product and the money was so rapidly taken out, then I expect a rapid refund in return. I think 8 months is more than long enough for a "respectable company" to re-imburse me.

Suppose if I had the vaccum and for whatever reason my checking account didn't let them process the rest of the payments. Do you think they would of let 8 months go by? I THINK NOT, they would of had me in court, charging me all kind of fines, and finance charges, and they would be calling me right and left. So whats the difference, I guess this is my next step. NOTE TO SINGER LAZER STORM: SEE YOU IN COURT, and I won't be pulling the plug on this one, because they need to be swept up and thrown out.

I hope who ever reads this will pass it on. Don't let your money be vaccumed up - GO TO WALMART! Thanks for reading. Any healthy comments will be appreciated.
